NEXT Office Design
For this project we were tasked with creating a 10,000 sf office space for an architectural firm in Dallas, Texas, with both a main floor and a mezzanine level. This project was for the NEXT office design competition which consisted of a list of all of the spaces that were needed to be included in the design. The concept for the space was up to the designer, and for my concept I chose to revolve it around the idea of finding your mental flow and creating a space in which everyone can reach their peak of optimal performance.

case studies research
My research focused on bringing the emotions and feelings of being a team member of a sport into the office; something I am very familiar with through my hockey team at RIT. Hockey arenas are places where team bonding, unity and the well being of players happen, especially in the locker room. My design will emphasize the idea of flow through creating spaces in which everyone can find their perfect state where they can be the best version of themselves and most productive in.
