This project was split up into multiple different parts. The goal of the project was to create a museum of emotion with an entrance space, transition space, and exhibit space. The first part of the project was examining an artist’s application of color theory, taking inspiration from a selected work to develop a palette, and examining the emotion of color. From there, we explored how form and liminal space can be used to evoke an emotional response and then how natural light can play in effect. Lastly, we integrated color, materials, and artificial lighting to create a multi-sensory experience for users of the space.
